The Newcastle Tourism Industry Group (NTIG) is Newcastle's peak tourism industry body and Local Tourism Association.
Since we launched in 2010 we have quickly grown and now have over 100 members. Our membership base represents every facet of tourism operator; including accommodation, function venues, transport, tours, attractions, events and restaurants. We also have members from many sectors that service tourism operators, including media, marketing and business consultants.
Organisations benefit from NTIG membership by becoming part of our network, to benefit from opportunities to grow their business and solve common problems together. We provide a unified voice to influence the direction of tourism in Newcastle.
Our 2011 Marketing Prospectus generated over $150,000 in cooperative marketing funds for campaigns that marketed Newcastle and our members.

Newcastle's Tourism Plan 2010 - 2012

NTIG Monthly Meetings
The NTIG monthly meetings are open to Tier 1, 2 and 3 members to attend (not Associates). You will receive an agenda via email, approximately one week before the meeting.
